[BLOG] To seek my happiness

There are several changes in my web-life. First of all, I made up my mind to write English posting such as this. To accustom myself to write English in blogger.com, I started my English posting as translation of my Korean posting. Sadly, I don't have much time for blogging, even if I can write Korean. Therefore, the English posting will be uploaded seldom.
And I changed my RSS reader to the plug-in in my blog. (If you know wonderful feed, please let me know.) And I blocked the response in an blog of mine, to collect the response in one blog. I'll allow the comments here for Non-Korean readers.

I already said that "I'm sad that I can't enjoy the game because of big earthquake in Japan." The interruption continues more than 10 days, I don't know when the service will be resume.

During the suspension, I play the game in Korean server.

I start to enjoy playing Korean.

But... It's not enough! I am pressed in daily life, especially in last week. It is related to my laboratory life. I can't say much about that, because I'd not write about my lab. in open space, I can say that IT'S HARD TIME TO ENDURE. Unfortunately, I can't play the game that I have played for long time, in recent days.


I start to find my own happiness. I tried to enjoy in Korean server (same game), but it can't be a good answer. The reason I've played Japanese server although I'm Korean, is I don't like play style of ordinary Korean online game users. I seek another game for enjoy. But I can't find proper one. The title of original posting means 'where is my fantasy!'. I tried to be familiar to fantasy game similar to WOW. (Actually, I can't say the meaning of my 'fantasy'. It is quite un-clear concept.) But there is no answer what I seek.

I also try to watch Japanese animations - I call these as 'anime', or 'ani'. I like those to forget the pain from my real life, and I think it is also fantasy life. I re-start to watch ani in January. Unfortunately, I was too busy to watch ani in February and there was a big maintenance in the web site I used, in early March. I can't watch for several weeks, I lose my pattern. - I gave up to follow the progresses of every animations.


I have no idea how to relax... I waste so much time already. When I started the social game, I thought to meet some event makes me happy. After one year, I conclude that the facebook games can't make me happy. But there is no substitute one for facebook.

I didn't post anything, recently.
There are several reasons why I din't write on my blog. I can't make time to make blog posting for some reason. Moreover, I've suffered for write something, both of research article and blog posting. Some failure in these days make me nervous, and I can't concentrate on write any sentence. Therefore, I want to broadcast my posting to many platform. After writing posting on my blog, I usually announce it via twitter, facebook, ... Unfortunately, facebook is not efficient channel, I guess. There is almost NO RESPONSE in facebook announcement.

I doubt the worth of facebook service! lol

Frankly speaking, facebook is game site to me. I started my facebook life to play Cafe World, famous social game of Zynga. For about 1 years, I've played so many games in facebook. And I didn't play most of them any more. Now, I play only Cafe World.

I thought it was last mission in my facebook game-life.

I want to make more social network, although it is related to game. (I think many others will be same.) I have spent so many times to play Cafe World, FarmVille , and so forth. In my thought, it is very hard to make friend with play social games. The players fill his/her news feed with game. (Only the game!) I can't know his/her life, hobby, or some other information. I can know only 'the name of games he or she plays'. I met most of my facebook friends via FarmVille. After block the application, I lost the way to enjoy facebook. What can I do in facebook? I have no idea what can I do else.
And I've suffering from asking something to my game friends. The games force me too many ask to my game friends (and they are facebook friends). I agree that the requests between users make the game more social, and it looks great at first time. But the provider makes so many request, I can't endure the amount of requests... (Zynga found the requests are useful to expand the number of players, they makes so many requests in their newest game - City Ville.)

MOST OF ALL, FACEBOOK IS SO SLOW THAT I CAN'T ENJOY THE CONTENTS!

It is not facebook's problem. I know the situation is due to the big earthquake in Japan. It cut off the submarine network cable between Asia and US. I had played Japanese online game, and I can't play several days.
Anyway, I decide to reduce facebook activity. I don't want 'suffering' come from 'amusement' and I have no time to waste this paradox...

... to the space somewhat international.

I have a blog on textcube.com which was operated by Tatter and Company (TNC). Unfortunately, TNC was merged into google, and the blog service will be end at Dec. 20th. The management team said that 'the blog will be moved to blogger.com' but I already moved my blog to somewhere else.

Anyway, I just get some place in blogger.com while I have no idea how to use it, yet.
